OUR EFFORTS HAVE RESULTED IN THE HGC HAVING THE LOWEST CONSISTENT CRIME STATISTICS IN THE GEOGRAPHIC TERRITORY  COVERED BY THE RANDBURG SAPS.

ARE YOU ONE YET?

What your contribution covers

  • A dedicated CSS tactical patrol vehicle with two armed security officers;
  • Monitoring of 24 cameras around the suburb with the latest surveillance software;
  • Maintenance and oversight of the perimeter fencing along the Spruit which forms part of the ‘ring of steel’ – a key factor in keeping our community safe;
  • Monthly attendance at Community Policing Forum/SAPS meetings and monthly strategy meeting between the relevant HGC committee member and CSS management;
  • Participation in all SAPS-led operations such as green belt clear-ups;
  • Unlimited meet and greets for contributors.

Pricing is as follows:

  • R900 per month, debited on the first of the month.
  • We have now been granted Public Benefit Organisation status under Section 18A of the Income Tax Act, so the contributions you make to the HGC are tax deductible. You can get between R300 and R405 back per month from SARS depending on your tax rate if you claim the donation in your tax return and submit your Section 18A donation receipt to SARS annually with your return.
  • Currently the cost of securing the suburb is in excess of R100 000 per month, so every extra contributor helps share the load.
  • All contributions go towards security at this stage.
  • Pensioner and complex rates available on request.
