ENVIRONMENT AND HISTORY

We are situated on the Braamfontein Spruit which is an official Nature Trail. Cyclists regularly use the Spruit area to cycle across the northern suburbs.

There are archaeological and historical sites in our area- a rock outcrop in our river area is 300 million years old.

We would like to encourage residents to share their knowledge and expertise - do we have any dedicated 'birders', tree specialists, environmentalists, historians?

We would like to create a page of interest to residents and to enhance the features of our area.

Contact if you would like to get involved.
